PROFILE COMPLETION, TERMS & PRIVACY AGREEMENT, SERVICE CONTRACT, VERIFICATION
- 1 Drag & drop a picture of the professional (for
identification purpose) into the
picture well. The image should be less than 500 MB, and is in common formats such as GIF, JPG
or PNG.
- 2State Professional License and Expire date are
required for verification. Smartphone is required for SMS communication. Email is the username and
cannot be changed. Address is required for map location but not disclosed.
- 3 Looking for specifies the job type: none, temporary,
permanent
or both. The None option allows professionals to look for jobs but not discovered by current
employers.
- 4Category specifies the healthcare field. Profession narrows down
the healthcare discipline. Wage and Experience are adjustable. Specify $0 wage and 0 year experience
for an internship.
- 5 Drag & drop a Resume file in MS Word or Adobe PDF onto the
gray bar to be displayed in the window below. For privacy and security, leave out contact information such as phone number, email and home addresses.
- 6Optional Public Attachments are visible to clinics and
Calalia. The current professional licenses or registrations, and applicable liability
insurance are required. Other documents could be curriculum vitae, college diploma, certificates of
CPR / First Aid, OSHA, HIPAA, bloodborne pathogen trainings, immunization record, I-9 Employment
Eligibility Verification, W-4 Employee’s Withholding Allowance Certificate. For privacy and
security, leave out personal information such as social security number, which can be provided at
the clinics.
- 7Sign the required Contract: professional’s name and date
are inserted into the document.
- 8Optional Private Attachments are visible to Calalia only.
They could be driver license or ID card for verification purpose. Attachments can be dragged &
dropped or imported, deleted, viewed, should be in common formats such PDF, GIF, JPG or PNG, and
less than 3 MB.
- 9 Deactivate makes this profile invisible to search.

AVAILABLE DAYS FOR TEMPORARY JOBS, ASSIGNMENT TRACKING
- 1The current day is marked with an orange bar. The
about-to-be-selected day is blue.
- 2Default non-available days are white. Available days are
green.
- 3Click on a day to toggle between unavailability (white) and
availability (green).
- 4Booked days are marked automatically with red bars. Clinics’
pictures and names are displayed for tracking jobs. When the temporary jobs are cancelled, the
clinics’ pictures and names are removed automatically.
Offer
TEMPORARY JOB OFFERS OR PERMANENT JOB COMMUNICATIONS
- 1When clinics contacts professionals, Calalia alerts the
professionals to the temporary job offers or permanent job communications. For a temporary
job, the professionals quickly reply through the SMS by texting back. Alternatively, they can reply
by internal messaging as described below.
- 2In the Temporary job offers, click on clinics’ Names
to see their profiles and internal messages (job offers). A professional chooses the best clinic to
click Send to
Accept with an internal message (job acceptance). Only one message is allowed to facilitate
quick temporary job placement.
- 3 Alternatively, the professional can Decline, or the offer can Expire.
- 4 Calalia alerts the clinic to the new status.
- 5With the Accept status, the professional can Cancel
but discouraged.

- 6 In the Permanent job offers, click on clinics’
Names to see their profiles and internal messages (interview invitations). A professional
chooses the best clinic to
reply with an internal message (interview acceptance).
- 7The clinic and professional can message back and forth to arrange
for an interview.
- 8After a meeting, the clinic and professional can set up a working
interview by booking a temporary job on Calalia.
- 9The clinic can Hire the professional. If not, the
professional contacts another clinic.
- 10Alternatively, the professional can Decline, or the offer
can Expire

INTERACTIVE SEARCH FOR TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT JOBS POSTED BY CLINICS
- 1Choose Job type: temporary or permanent.
- 2If the job type is temporary, click on Work on to bring up
a
calendar to pick a day.
- 3If looking for a specific clinic, specify name, phone or email in
With.
- 4Specify wide ranges of Wage and Experience for a
larger number of matched clinics or jobs.
- 5 Click on the Home button to center the professional’s
location. Pan or zoom on the map to locate more surrounding clinics. This is helpful in surveying
the job market in case of relocation.
- 6As these criteria are varied interactively, Calalia instantly
displays all matched clinics.
- 7 The professional selects a few clinics, placing them in the
Contacts tab.
- 8The same process can be repeated for different job type, work
date, wage, experience, and map area.

CONTACTING CLINICS TO APPLY FOR POSTED TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT JOBS
- 1In the Temporary job contacts, click on the clinics’ Names
to see their profiles. A professional chooses the best clinic to Contact with an internal message
(cover letter). Only one message is allowed to facilitate quick temporary job placement.
- 2The default Expiration is 4 hours later and can be changed.
- 3 Calalia alerts the clinic .
- 4The clinic replies with a smartphone text, or an internal
message using the Clinic app, Offers tab, Temporary job offers. And the status could be Accept,
Decline, or Expire.
- 5With the Accept status, the professional can Cancel
but discouraged.

- 6With the Decline status, the professional contacts another
clinic.
- 7With the Expire status, the professional can contact the same or
another clinic.
- 8In the Permanent job contacts, click on the clinics’ Names
to see their profiles. A professional chooses the best clinic to Contact with an internal message
(interview invitation).
- 9Calalia alerts the clinic to the permanent
job application.
- 10The clinic replies with a smartphone text, or an internal
message using the Clinic app, Offers tab, Permanent job offers.
- 11The clinic and professional can message internally back and forth
to arrange for an interview.
- 12After a meeting, the clinic and professional can set up a working
interview by booking a temporary job on Calalia.
- 13 The clinic can Hire. If not, the professional contacts
another clinic.
History
HISTORY AND EVALUATION
- 1 Temporary job transactions (with No-show or Complete status) are
displayed.
- 2 Professionals evaluate clinics by a simple rating (Not
Like, 1 to 5 stars) and the work experience by a descriptive note.
- 3The evaluation is confidential, and the rating will be used for
future matching within that clinic-professional relationship only. A Not-Like rating results in no
future matching between the same professional and clinic.
